Lena Bareket transformed her driveway into a cozy patio by executing three DIY projects, emphasizing the importance of design planning and proper preparation for painting.
"I definitely recommend mapping out the design ahead of time. I drafted different designs using an Excel spreadsheet," Lena states, demonstrating her organized approach to the project.
"I had done painting projects before for interior rooms, but this was my first time sealing holes in brick and cement and painting brick and cement," she recalls, highlighting her learning curve.
"The cement paint looked pretty watery, and no matter how many layers, sometimes the brush strokes could be seen," Lena notes, sharing the challenges faced during the floor renovation.
