Travelers booking flights directly on American Airlines' website can now easily apply eligible trip credits at checkout, enhancing convenience and accessibility.
American Airlines has made it easier for travelers to redeem trip credits by integrating their usage into the flight booking process, with a rollout scheduled for all members.
Trip credits will soon expire after 12 months for AAdvantage members and 6 months for non-members, although signing up is free to extend this period.
Unlike flight credits and travel vouchers, trip credits can be used flexibly for anyone, not just the original credit holder, which adds value for travelers.
