AMC is raising the price of its Stubs A-List subscription from $24.95 to $27.99 per month, effective May 7th. Alongside this price change, AMC will increase the number of movies subscribers can watch weekly from three to four and lower the age requirement for membership to 13. CEO Adam Aron emphasized that even with the price adjustment, the plan continues to deliver exceptional value, often costing less than two standard movie tickets per month for non-members, especially when considering premium format screenings.
Even with this necessary price adjustment, in most cases the cost of an A-List membership will be less than seeing two movies per month as a non-member, especially so if you see a movie in our premium formats and/or buy your tickets online.
This price hike is the first in years for the A-List subscription service, which still offers value compared to purchasing individual tickets.
