AMC to pay $8M for allegedly violating 1988 law with use of Meta Pixel
AMC has proposed an $8.3 million settlement to subscribers of its streaming services due to allegations of illegally sharing subscribers' viewing history with tech companies.
The settlement comes in response to a violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA), which prohibits sharing private viewing information without consent. [ more ]
