"A number of Allianz offices across Europe and Asia were vandalised in the past 24 hours in a coordinated wave of actions that campaigners say coincided with the renewal of Allianz's alleged insurance contract with the Israeli defence firm Elbit Systems and the anniversary of the 1917 Balfour Declaration. Sources have said that Allianz Ireland has no relationship with Elbit."
"In a statement, Allianz plc confirmed that An Garda Síochána is investigating an attack at the offices of Allianz in Dublin in which "a group of people in balaclavas and black combat style clothing and armed with a variety of implements attempted to gain entry to the building by smashing windows and doors". "Allianz employees and contractors in the building at the time alerted Gardai and secured themselves in a safe location in the building as part of our security procedures," a spokesperson said."
Windows and doors were smashed and graffiti sprayed at Allianz's Elm Park building in Dublin 4 in an early‑morning attack. Gardaí attended following an incident of criminal damage at approximately 2.50am, and the scene has been preserved for technical examination while investigations continue. Palestine Action Éire claimed responsibility for the damage, saying it targeted Allianz over alleged links to Elbit Systems. A coordinated wave of vandalism hit Allianz offices across Europe and Asia, timed with the alleged renewal of an Elbit insurance contract and the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. Allianz plc said employees secured themselves and that the attackers daubed red paint on the building.
