Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy features Renee Zellweger as Bridget, adjusting to life as a middle-aged single mother after Mark Darcy's death. The film, based on Helen Fielding's novels, captures Bridget navigating new relationships, including with the younger Roxster. Filming took place in various locations across North London, including Hampstead Heath and Haverstock Hill. Local businesses, like Sayeh & Galton Flowers, also participated, highlighting community involvement in the movie's production. Fans can expect a blend of humor and heartfelt moments that reflect Bridget’s journey and growth as a character.
Owner Sayeh Rafiei told the Ham&High she was "ecstatic" to have film crews in. She added: "It was brilliant to be a part of the movie. It was a very nice fit to be part of it."
In one TikTok, Zellweger was recorded strolling along Haverstock Hill, waiting at the bus stop just outside Nail Lovers, and was later seen sitting on a bench.
In August, Zellweger was instantly recognisable during filming on a sweltering summer's day at the top of Parliament Hill.
Zellweger, 55, was seen climbing a tree to reach a child, while new toy boy Woodall was pictured alongside it wearing Hampstead Heath uniform.
