Briefly

Alabama Shakes have announced a much-anticipated 2025 reunion tour, their first in eight years, set to kick off in Chicago on July 16th. The tour will encompass multiple U.S. cities, including Nashville and Las Vegas, and will feature a rotating lineup of special guests such as Bahamas and Shannon & The Clams. Lead vocalist Brittany Howard expressed excitement about making music together again and noted that they have recorded new material for upcoming release. The tour is aimed to blend nostalgia with a focus on future creations, highlighting the band's evolving journey.
"Last year, Heath, Zac, and I started chatting about how much fun it would be to make music together and tour again as Alabama Shakes," vocalist/guitarist Brittany Howard said in a statement. "This band and these songs have been such a source of joy for all of us. It is crazy that it has been 10 years since we released Sound and Color and eight years since we played a show."
Howard added that since the band wanted the tour to be "as much about the future as the past," they've recorded "a bunch of new music that will be released soon."
