Aerosmith, the iconic rock band, is set to perform for the first time since their retirement from touring at Steven Tyler’s 6th Annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party. Scheduled for February 2nd at the Hollywood Palladium, the event aims to raise funds for Janie's Fund, helping young girls affected by trauma. The evening will feature collaborations with various artists and is expected to bring joy to those affected by wildfires in LA. Tyler expressed the importance of music as a source of healing as they support both the community and their charitable initiative.
What the Los Angeles community has endured with these wildfires is unthinkable. Music has healing powers and we hope to bring a moment of joy and levity to our first-responder firefighters and those most affected by the fires.
We will continue to shed light and support the amazing work of Janie's Fund. The trauma experienced by the girls we work with is also unthinkable.
Aerosmith announced their immediate retirement from touring on August 2nd of last year, citing Tyler's vocal injury sustained during a farewell tour show.
The benefit will also aid the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firefighter's Fund.
