This week at Cop29, the Artivist Network created a provocative installation featuring a giant serpent, symbolizing the need to remove fossil fuel lobbyists from the negotiations.
Kevin Buckland noted, 'The media at these meetings are really bored. They are looking for images, but there’s hardly any from the talks themselves.'
The activists' efforts included an exhibition commemorating murdered environmental defenders, amplifying the shrinking voice of civil society at UN discussions.
