According to multiple reports, the Trump campaign plans to hit New York City roughly a week before the election by hosting a rallying in Madison Square Garden, known colloquially as the World's Most Famous arena.
A massive turnout is expected for the rally, which will be a first-come, first-serve event. Trump has recently claimed that New York could flip Republican, providing all 28 electoral votes to the GOP candidate.
The recent polling average in New York shows that Vice President Kamala Harris is leading Trump by 14 points. New York City is a very blue enclave prone to political protests.
There are also a smaller but very passionate set of pro-Trump constituents, so it's easy to see this night at the Garden becoming something of a powder keg of protests and counter-protests, just nine days before such a close general election.
