A massive snake sculpture is coming to The Oculus for Lunar New Year
Briefly

The Lunar New Year, starting this Wednesday, will be marked by the installation of a 150-foot interactive snake sculpture named Infinite Harmony at The Oculus. Created by Danielle Chang in collaboration with artists and architects, this sculpture symbolizes the concepts of yin and yang. Visitors can engage with the sculpture through QR codes, adding an interactive element to the experience. This creative installation is a tribute to the significance of the snake in Chinese culture, representing qualities such as wisdom and transformation.
The sculpture is a true collaboration-blending Danielle's vision, Warren's sculptural style, and Andrew's strategy for fabrication.
The design responds to the context of the Oculus and the symbolism of the celebration, reinterpreting the snake into the infinite flow of a Mobius strip.
Visitors will be able to interact with the sculpture when they scan a QR code, which will allow them to control the movements of an animated overlay of a snake.
Snakes signify all good things, including wisdom and transformation in the Chinese zodiac.
