"An investigation is now underway into the fatal house fire, which happened in Castleview Park in Edenderry last night. Emergency services and An Garda Síochána arrived at a domestic residence at approximately 7.45pm yesterday. Gardaí have confirmed two people died as a result of this house fire, which has been extinguished by the local fire service. A young boy and a female, aged in her 60s, were both fatally injured in the fire."
"A second woman, aged in her 50s, has been seriously injured and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in the Midlands. Gardaí in Tullamore are now appealing for witnesses to contact them. "Investigations ongoing, and further updates will follow," a Garda spokesperson said."
