Alec Blair, the two-sport Oklahoma commit, made history by becoming De La Salle's all-time leading scorer, reaching 1,652 career points in a recent game against Granada. Coach Marcus Schroeder praised Blair's impressive scoring ability and consistency throughout his four years on the team. Blair emphasized his ambition to win state while aiming for standout performances. Despite a missed shoulder injury earlier this season, he quickly returned to the court, averaging 22 points per game. Blair’s impressive scoring skills stem from his effective mid-range jumper and strong field goal percentage, illustrating his development as a player.
I've had a front row seat for every single one of those points, and I think Alec is such an incredible scorer. What he's done in his career is amazing.
To me, most importantly I want to win state. I want to get a couple of 30-point games and I would love to get the scoring record at De La Salle.
He shoots over 55% on 2-point field goals. I think that part of his game has definitely developed along with his mid-range at the elbow.
It's been an incredible four years, and he's got a few more points to be had.
