James Pearce Jr., a top defensive player in his class from the University of Tennessee, has officially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft after a strong collegiate career.
During his 2023 sophomore season, Pearce Jr. emerged as a standout player, leading the SEC with 10.0 sacks and achieving significant stats, including 15 tackles for loss.
Despite a slightly reduced production in 2024 with 7.5 sacks, Pearce Jr. maintained his status as a top defensive player, earning first-team All-SEC honors again.
A highly sought recruit coming out of high school, Pearce Jr. chose the Volunteers after receiving 13 power five offers and ranked #11 in his class.
