2024 World's Largest Origami Tree "Tree of Hope" Tree Lighting (Grace Cathedral)
Briefly

The Rainbow World Fund’s World Tree of Hope, traditionally a 23-foot tall holiday tree, will be reimagined this year as a 15-foot tree adorned with over 10,000 origami cranes and stars, emphasizing a message of global peace and unity.
Created as a gift from the LGBTQ and friends community, the Tree serves as a symbol of hope and love, encouraging people to submit their wishes which are then transformed into origami cranes for the display.
The tree will be displayed in the AIDS Memorial Chapel of Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, continuing a 17-year tradition that gathers the community to contribute wishes and celebrate together.
On December 9, Grace Cathedral will host an event featuring art, music, and blessings from local figures, enhancing the sense of community around this annual holiday event.
