Written by Director, Alan Chipman, Magic of Christmas began on Oakland Temple Hill almost 40 years ago, and has been presented most years for the past 20 Christmases. This rich history reflects the community’s commitment to celebrating the festive season through live music and artistic performances that resonate with joy and tradition.
Magic of Christmas will feature Bay Area guest soloists, the Temple Hill Choir, members of the Temple Hill Symphony, and dancers to open the traditional Christmas lighting concert on Oakland's Temple Hill. The inclusion of local talent not only enriches the performance but also highlights the vibrant arts scene in the Bay Area, inviting everyone to gather and experience this seasonal celebration.
