Melissa Power was severely injured in a cycling accident at 22, which left her with a broken leg and wrist, and lasting mental health challenges. She struggled with fear and weight gain for years but discovered indoor cycling in 2010, which transformed her life and career. By focusing on exercise and rehabilitation, she regained confidence and fell in love with cycling-style workouts. In 2018, she established an academy to promote indoor cycling as an accessible and safe form of exercise, certifying 800 instructors to help others.
