Ramon Jesus Carpintero-Luna, a gang member of Tren de Aragua, broke down in tears after being arrested for robbing liquor stores in Florida. He and others allegedly engaged in a violent crime spree, robbing over 30 stores for a total of $30,000. The Polk County Sheriff's Office reported that the group resorted to crime after illegally crossing the border. After a failed attempt to escape in a stolen cart, they attempted to flee using an Uber. Five men linked were apprehended following the robbery attempts.
