At the NFL Combine, three of the top offensive linemen—including Grey Zabel from North Dakota State, Armand Membou from Missouri, and Jalen Rivers from Miami—held meetings with the Miami Dolphins, indicating alignment with the team's needs. Rivers noted a productive discussion over film with coaches, emphasizing growth and interest in the team. Membou appreciated his interaction with head coach Mike McDaniel, while Zabel highlighted the organization's football passion and McDaniel's vibrant personality, which made a strong positive impression on him.
That went great. We went over film. I talked to the coach [Lemuel] Jeanpierre, the assistant offensive line coach. Talked a little bit to coach [Butch] Barry as well.
The big thing that stood out about that meeting was just the passion they have for football. Super high football IQ in that program, on that team.
