U.S. Marshals remove Alexander twins from Miami-Dade jail. Next stop: federal bond hearing
Briefly

The twin brothers charged with a host of sex crimes in state and federal court in Miami and New York were hauled away from a Miami-Dade jail Thursday morning and taken into federal custody.
An FBI agent testified earlier this week that they heard from 40 women with additional and credible rape complaints. The federal indictment accuses the brothers of finding women, sometimes with the help of promoters, drugging them and sometimes transporting them across state lines or to other countries.
As attorneys for Oren and Alon Alexander were discussing a bond arrangement on state charges before Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Lody Jean, a Miami-Dade Corrections officer informed the court that the 37-year-old twins had been picked up by U.S. Marshals and were enroute to a federal detention facility.
