Traffic alert: I-395 out of Miami Beach has been shut down, Miami cops say

A tractor-trailer incident involving a shifted load has resulted in the closure of the westbound lanes of Interstate 395 at Biscayne Boulevard, as reported by Miami police. The closure was first announced on social media by the City of Miami at 10:35 a.m. on Monday. As a result of this traffic disruption, alternative routes have been suggested for those traveling out of Miami Beach, including the Venetian Causeway for downtown access and I-195, also known as the Julia Tuttle Causeway.
