Carlos Santi, a Coral Gables attorney, was arrested for stalking another attorney by sending threatening messages and showing up uninvited at his home and office. The victim reported continuous harassment, leading him to shut down his office for safety. Santi's communications included menacing rap songs that referenced the victim's children, which caused emotional distress. He was arrested after being found outside the victim's residence with pizza boxes bearing the victim's family names. Santi is currently facing charges of aggravated stalking and remains in custody.
The lawyer told Coral Gables police that Santi was "continuously" harassing and intimidating him by showing up unannounced and uninvited to his law office.
Santi began sending him several text messages. The lawyer promptly told Santi to stop - but he refused.
The ... victim's children have been emotionally in distress due to the defendant's actions and constant harassment.
On Thursday, officers arrested Santi, who at the time had two pizza boxes with the lawyer's and his wife's names on them.
