Although the man got to the hospital around 2:30 a.m. in a black Kia Stringer with several bullet holes, the shooting may have occurred moments earlier by Northwest 12th Avenue & 71st Street, near Miami Northwestern Senior High, Officer Kiara Delva, a police spokeswoman, told the Miami Herald.
Delva said a ShotSpotter alerted cops about shots fired near the school, adding that the shooting likely wounded the man, who remained hospitalized in stable condition.
