A Miami Gardens officer and two others were taken to the hospital - one in critical condition - after police say a driver ran a red light and crashed into a patrol car early Tuesday morning.
The officer was heading south on Northwest 27th Avenue when a driver going in the opposite direction ran a red light and crashed into the police vehicle at the intersection of 167th Street, Miami Gardens officer Diana Delgado told reporters at the scene.
