A spokesperson from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue mentioned receiving a call about an unmanned dinghy that was found adrift at the scene.
Petty Officer Diana Sherbs, from the U.S. Coast Guard, confirmed the drifter vessel was a dinghy and provided details regarding the incident.
