The Great American Bacon Race is set to return to South Florida, with events scheduled in Davie, Miami, and West Palm Beach. Participants in the 5K run/walk will encounter bacon at the finish line and have chances to win the Golden Pig trophy. Alongside, the Bacon Bash After Party will feature a DJ, food trucks, and a costume contest. The event includes a unique Bacon Mile, where runners eat bacon at intervals. It also supports NVEEE, an anti-bullying and suicide prevention nonprofit, highlighting its community engagement.
As always, our top runners can qualify to win the illustrious Golden Pig, if they're quick enough. Plus, let's not forget the kids and the 400-meter Kids Bacon Dash.
We're very excited to return to South Florida with the 2025 Great American Bacon Race series this year. We will incorporate the Bacon Mile into the post-race festivities.
