A luxury condo project is planned for Surfside site where building collapse killed 98 people
Briefly

DAMAC International is developing a luxury condominium, The Delmore, on the site of the Champlain Towers South collapse in Surfside, Florida, which resulted in 98 deaths in 2021. Featuring staggered floors designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the 12-story project will consist of 37 opulent units, each averaging 7,000 square feet, and priced starting at $15 million. Expected completion is in 2029, and amenities will include a private restaurant, wellness spa, and more. The company's release did not address the tragedy that occurred on the site, and the investigation into the collapse remains ongoing.
We have been focused on delivering an ultra-luxury product to the South Florida market that is unlike anything the area has seen previously.
