Randy Moss, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, is now a partner in Crisppi's Chicken, a South Florida restaurant offering unique fried chicken sandwiches and chicken and waffle dishes. The restaurant will also serve fans at Miami Dolphins' Hard Rock Stadium during the NFL season. Moss, who came from humble beginnings in West Virginia, credits his success in entrepreneurship to the relationships he built over time, aiming to avoid the financial pitfalls that many retired athletes face.
"I just want to taste that waffle," said the 48-year-old Moss, eyeing some food for himself.
Customers can order huge fried chicken sandwiches dripping with mango habanero sauce or sweet Thai chili sauce, a Moss favorite.
We're proud to partner with Crisppi's Chicken to enhance our game day experience," said Danielle Pierce, Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium vice president of partnership development.
I think when you come from a small town, you grow up with a lot of uncertainty," he said. "I just think that all the relationships that I've worked on and gained over time have gotten me to this point.
