Scientists Find Link Between ADHD, Depression and Hypersexuality

In a new paper published in the Journal of Affective Disorders Reports, a group of Italian psychology researchers suggest a correlation between ADHD, depressive symptoms, hypomania, and hypersexuality, hinting at the idea that people experiencing these symptoms may use sex as a form of 'self-medication.'
Individuals with ADHD, partly because of the problems due to the condition, are particularly vulnerable to dysphoric emotional states.
