Lisa Rinna reveals why she threatened to kill husband Harry Hamlin: 'I'll never forget'
Briefly

On their podcast, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin discussed Rinna's severe postpartum depression after the birth of their second daughter, Amelia, in 2001. Rinna described experiencing vivid hallucinations, including thoughts of harming Hamlin and despairing visions involving the family. Although she was ultimately prescribed antidepressants that helped her significantly, there was a challenging waiting period of three weeks during which she struggled to care for her young children. Rinna highlighted the importance of addressing postpartum depression, sharing her earlier experience with the condition after her first daughter, Delilah, was born.
I'll never forget after Amelia was born, we were at the cabin in Canada, we went to a movie one day in Bracebridge, and you said, 'I'm gonna kill you.'
I was having these horrible visions. It's true. I was having horrible hallucinations of killing people. And I needed to take the knives out of the house.
I was prescribed antidepressants that worked instantly and changed the whole thing. It changed the game instantly.
Here we are on an island with a baby and a 3-year-old. I was out of my mind.
