Briefly

E.M.D.R. therapy targets traumatic memories through bilateral stimulation, addressing deeper emotional issues than traditional therapy. Engaging in this therapy followed months of psychosomatic back pain linked to trauma from witnessing events in Palestine. Alternative methods were sought after a decade of talk therapy. Imagery of black liquid symbolizes trauma in the creative practice, representing struggles and the journey toward acceptance. Color contrasts reflect disassociation and healing stages, depicting the complex emotional journey toward peace with past experiences.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.) utilizes bilateral stimulation to help individuals process trauma, moving beyond traditional therapy methods toward deep emotional healing.
Experiencing psychosomatic back pain related to trauma over Palestine highlighted the need to confront deeper issues through alternative therapies like E.M.D.R., after years of talk therapy.
The motif of black liquid in creative practice serves as a metaphor for trauma that manifests physically, illustrating the struggle between concealment and acceptance of pain.
In my artwork, color symbolizes various states of disassociation and healing, juxtaposing darkness with moments of clarity to depict the emotional journey toward acceptance.
