David Harbour recently discussed his marriage to Lily Allen amid rumors of their separation in a GQ Hype interview. He expressed a strong desire to protect his personal life from tabloid speculation and emphasized that much of the news surrounding his marriage is exaggerated. Harbour acknowledged the significant changes in his life and suggested that rather than avoid or react chaotically to these changes, itâs beneficial to embrace them. He is channeling his experiences into his work, illustrating how life moments can inform and enhance his art.
I'm protective of the people and the reality of my life... There's no use in that form of engaging [with tabloid news] because it's all based on hysterical hyperbole.
You can deny this change, be afraid of this change, you can kind of be chaotic about it and, like, eat your way through - whatever you need to do. Or you can sit with however uncomfortable, or weird, or new, it makes you feel.
For me, always the best thing that I can do is take all of that experience and pour it into work... my experience... will always be useful to someone else if it's channelled through art.
