Pouria Zeraati, a journalist with Iran International, was allegedly stabbed in March by two Romanian men, Nandito Badea and George Stana, leading to their upcoming trial.
The defendants, both of whom appeared via video link from Belmarsh prison, have been charged with wounding with intent and are remanded in custody.
Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb scheduled a plea and trial preparation hearing for April, with a provisional trial date set for May 2026 at Woolwich Crown Court.
