Trucks gather at the newly opened Rafah crossing to take aid into Gaza
Briefly

The Rafah border crossing, which had been closed due to recent military offensives, reopened on Saturday, enabling the evacuation of critically ill patients from Gaza. Supported by the WHO, a convoy carried 37 patients, predominantly children, to Egypt for specialized medical care unavailable in Gaza. The situation remains dire, with estimates indicating that up to 14,000 individuals in Gaza need urgent medical attention. The WHO emphasizes the need for more efficient evacuation methods and medical corridors to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

This is just the start. We need to speed up the pace. What we need are medical corridors now outside Gaza.
