The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is hosting a virtual workshop on the placebo effect. The purpose is to bring together experts in neurobiology, clinical trials, and regulatory science to discuss placebo responses in interventions for mental health conditions.
Topics at the workshop will include interpreting placebo signals in clinical trials, distinguishing active response from placebo effects, and understanding the psychosocial implications of placebo response.
