Physician assistants students launch educational journeys | Cornell Chronicle
Briefly

Jordyn Green's dedication to healthcare intensified after a life-changing experience in an emergency room where she witnessed the valuable role of physician assistants. This inspired her to join the Master of Science in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants program at Weill Cornell Medicine. As a graduate, she is excited to explore diverse medical specialties through clinical rotations. Director Kelly R. Porta emphasized the white coat's significance, urging students to reflect on their goals and commitment to patient care in the dynamic field of healthcare.
Perhaps the coat represents your commitment to humanism, to helping underserved communities and to patient advocacy. You each have a purpose, a reason for working so hard for this.
