People are more likely to regret having children than gender-affirming surgery: study
Briefly

Gender-affirming surgery has a rate of regret of less than 1 percent, while elective common plastic surgeries like breast augmentation, body contouring, and others had regret rates ranging from 9.1 to 47.1 percent.
Regret rates for major life events like tattoos and having children were reported at 16.2 percent and 7 percent, respectively, still higher than regret rates for gender-affirming surgery, which remained below 1 percent.
Anti-LGBTQ+ bills in the U.S. disproportionately target transgender individuals, especially minors, aiming to limit gender-affirming care by banning reversible non-surgical options and imposing restrictions on necessary treatments.
