New plans have been revealed to help the NHS save more than 2,000 hospital beds in south west London.The Hospital at Home teams at Wandsworth and Merton Hospital are providing intensive hospital-grade beds to help patients with serious conditions at home.The scheme is part of an ongoing initiative launched in December 2021 to save needed beds for the NHS to allow support early discharges from hospital.
