Seven members of a youth group hiking in Utah were transported to hospitals after lightning struck near them during light rain. Two airlifted due to serious symptoms, five taken by ambulances. None were life-threatening.
Approximately 50 youth felt the shock of lightning, with seven requiring medical attention. The incident occurred in Sevier county at about 1.45pm. Other hikers were returned to their families.
