The Speaker for the House of Representatives has tacitly given his approval for reducing the public's access to marijuana. This is at odds with with 85% of the public, who believe it should be legal in some form.
Expanded legalization will only help patients. While a majority of people use cannabis to relax, almost 46% use it for some type of medical benefit.
The US Veterans Department and civilian physicians encourage patients to talk about how they are using marijuana to manage illness or pain. They consider it part of a regime and want to maximize the benefits.
Researchers say more research needs to be done to unlock the 100 or so other cannabinoids in any given strain. The study suggests cannabinoids like Cannabichromene (CBC) and Cannabinol (CBN) might be responsible for more of the therapeutic benefits than previously known.
