Washington Post's Marimow '97 named Distinguished Visiting Journalist | Cornell Chronicle

This is a pivotal moment in our democracy, and we are privileged to have Ann Marimow on campus to offer her insights on the inner workings of the Supreme Court.

Marimow follows the work of the high court for the Washington Post at a time of historic change and heightened scrutiny, reporting on significant events like the elimination of the nationwide right to abortion.

Before joining the Post in 2005, Marimow spent five years at the San Jose Mercury News covering high-profile political stories, including the recall of Governor Gray Davis.

I am eager to talk with Cornell faculty, students and researchers about public confidence in government and how journalism can play a role in restoring it.
