Prime Video reportedly shows almost twice as many ads as it used to
Briefly

Amazon Prime Video has increased its ad load to four-to-six minutes per hour, effectively doubling the previous limit of three-and-a-half minutes. This change comes as part of a broader trend among streaming services to offer ad-supported subscription options at lower rates. Users now have to pay an additional $3 per month to avoid ads in Prime Video. Despite the increase, streaming services still feature significantly fewer ads than traditional TV, which typically has an ad load of 13 to 16 minutes per hour.
