Several reporters traveling with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz were involved in a highway pileup during a campaign trip to Milwaukee, resulting in minor injuries.
The press pool vans sustained the most damage in the accident, while the vehicle carrying Governor Walz was unaffected and continued to the event.
Local news director Matt Smith reported from the scene via Twitter, assuring that although some injuries occurred, Walz and Rep. Moore proceeded to their destination.
Despite one staff member being treated for a broken arm, the press and Walz's motorcade downplayed the overall severity of the crash.
