Tinder now lets you go on double dates
Briefly

Tinder has launched a new 'Double Date' feature in the US, allowing users to invite friends to match with other pairs. Found in a dedicated icon, users can scroll through paired profiles, and a match is made when both pairs swipe right. This innovation aims to help Tinder compete with other double date platforms and is designed to alleviate the dating pressure felt by Gen Z users. Cleo Long, Tinder's head of product marketing, highlighted that the feature promises a more social and fun dating experience, rolling out globally by July.
The update should help Tinder gain an edge over rivals as the dating app industry continues to experience a slump.
This is a social-first experience that's really meant to help relieve some of the pressure that we know a lot of Gen Z experiences with dating.
