Postscript, an SMS marketing startup for e-commerce brands, is committing $2.5 million to assist businesses affected by tariffs on imports. The company, focused on Shopify-centric small to midsize brands, is lowering rates for existing and new customers, offering free AI tools, and providing cashback. Co-founder Alex Beller noted that while some brands are coping well, many anticipate challenges and will take steps like raising prices or cutting costs to mitigate their losses. Postscript aims to alleviate some of that pressure with its initiatives.
Postscript is making its AI tools free and has permanently lowered rates to help e-commerce brands navigate challenges stemming from recent tariffs.
The company determined that many brands are feeling pain from tariffs and expect them to take various measures to cope, including price hikes.
