PA Media has acquired Scottish social media agency Hydrogen to expand its advertising and social media capabilities. PA Media owns a portfolio including image licensor Alamy, video technology firm Stream AMG, PA Betting and PA Training and already operates digital agency Sticky. Hydrogen will complement PA Media's services and help meet growing demand for social media and social commerce across the group. Hydrogen serves clients such as Highland Park, Magners and SSE and claims to be the largest social agency in Scotland. The acquisition terms have not been disclosed.
