Limited Test: Google Ads A/B Tests Product Titles & Images For Shopping Ads
"As you can see, it says, "Drive more sales with product data experiments. "Run A/B tests with different product titles and images in your Shopping Ads to see how they perform. Results are available in about 3 to 4 weeks," it explains."
""This was teased at GML last year and is currently being tested with a small number of merchants. Stay tuned for broader availability!""
"Recently, Google also allowed some advertisers to run A/B tests on some PMax campaigns."
Google Ads is testing a limited feature that allows advertisers to run A/B tests using different product titles and images in Shopping Ads. The experiment interface promotes product data experiments and indicates results are typically available in about three to four weeks. The test is limited to a small number of merchants for now. Google has recently allowed some advertisers to run A/B tests on certain Performance Max campaigns as well. Many advertisers are likely to welcome wider availability of these testing capabilities.
