Understanding the real costs of events - and how to manage them effectively - is the difference between a successful conference and a budget nightmare.
'Put your whole wish list in there from the beginning,' said Kristene Hentz, an event planner at One10. 'Then you'll know what it will cost you if you could do everything you wanted for this event.'
'Internet is huge. Sometimes people don't think about it, but you don't want your internet going down during a conference,' Hentz said. 'It can range anywhere from $150,000 to $600,000, depending on how much bandwidth you want.'
