Google Updates SEO Abuse Policy, Upends Publisher Affiliates
Briefly

Google has issued a critical update to its Site Reputation Abuse policy to close a loophole exploited by publishers to generate passive affiliate revenue.
The updated policy clarifies that any use of third-party content on a site to exploit the publisher's search authority now constitutes Site Reputation Abuse.
'We've heard very clearly from users that site reputation abuse-commonly referred to as 'parasite SEO'-leads to a bad search experience for people,' said Chris Nelson.
With this update, Google is aiming to eliminate practices that lead to misleading content visibility, ultimately enhancing user experience.
