Google Merchant Center Website-Reported Autofeeds
Briefly

Google has introduced a feature called Website-reported Autofeeds, allowing merchants to automatically import in-store inventory data into Google Merchant Center without needing additional feed files. This innovation, discovered by Emmanuel Flossie, uses Google Tag Manager to tag websites with necessary product attributes. When customers check in-store availability, the tag collects real-time data, including stock and pricing, which is then sent to Google to enhance product listings. This feature is tailored for advanced users and merchants with developer resources, making inventory management more efficient.
With this, local inventory data is no longer required when adding your online store's in-store inventory to Merchant Center.
Google's Website-reported Autofeeds offer a streamlined method to automatically import in-store inventory data into Google Merchant Center-no extra feed files required.
The tag collects relevant inventory data for the product, such as Merchant Center ID, Product ID, Current availability, Store codes, Price, Country and Language.
Google automatically matches the received data with your existing product listings in Google Merchant Center.
